Viveros SunnyRidge Chile was born in April 2006 from the union of Agrícola Doña Javiera (Melipilla, Chile) and Sunnyridge Farm Inc. (Florida, USA) to produce blueberry plants of new varieties with high quality in Chile.

Agrícola Doña Javiera is a family company dedicated to the sale of blueberry plants and other berries since 1993, as well as providing specialized services in plant micro propagation.

Sunnyridge Farm Inc. is an American company that has dedicated 40 years to the propagation, production, packaging and marketing of fresh berries.

Sunnyridge Farm Inc. markets and distributes fruit produced in USA, Argentina, Chile and Mexico. Since the first exports of blueberries from our country, Sunnyridge Farm Inc. has been distributing and doing sales of blueberries from Chilean export companies in USA.

Sunnyridge Farm Inc. is the largest blueberry producer in Florida during the past 20 years and has been working with the University of Florida in field testing of advanced blueberry selections from the University’s breeding program.

Viveros Sunnyridge Chile sells traditional blueberry varieties in Chile and all the blueberry varieties developed by the University of Florida, in order to improve the competitiveness of Chilean blueberries.

ThereforeViveros Sunnyridge Chile has the exclusive license from Sunnyridge Farm Inc. in Chile and Brazil for all the new blueberry varieties developed by the University of Florida, outstanding among them Emerald®, Primadonna®, Snow Chaser®, Sweet Crisp®, Spring Wide®, Spring High® and Millennia®. Sunnyridge nurseries also have non-exclusive license for other blueberry varieties such as Star and Jewel.

In the pastrecent years, the company has developed a plan of internationalization plan that has made possibleallowed exportingexportations of plants to Spain and Mexico regularly..

Since 2009 Viveiros Sunnyridge Brasil is present in Holambra, São Paulo, Brazil, with the same quality our Chilean, Mexican and Spanish customers already know.
